How long after I complete my course before it will be graded?
Courses listed under the MT only Courses heading will be graded by the instructor within seven business days of your submission. All other courses will be graded by the instructor within three business days of your submission.
Will I get a certificate or other documentation when I successfully complete the course?
Yes, upon receiving a passing grade, you will receive a Certificate of Completion for the course. An email will be sent to you, containing a link to download the certificate. You can also download the certificate by returning to the course.
I have not yet received my Certificate of Completion and I passed my course. What do I do?
Please check the junk/spam folder in your inbox, as some messages from ChildCareTraining.org may have filtered into there. If you cannot find the email, please email technical support at cct@childcareresources.org or call 406.728.6446.
I did not pass my course and I need to improve my answers. How do I resubmit an activity?

Resubmitting an activity is exactly the same as submitting the activity for the first time. To resubmit an activity, log in to ChildCareTraining.org and enter the course. Click on the link for the activity that you need to edit. On the activity page, click on the Edit your submission button. Type your new answer BELOW your previous answer. The instructor will want to see how you've changed your response. Once done, click the Save changes button.

After improving your answer, you please email the instructor to notify your resubmission. The instructor WILL NOT know that you have resubmitted your activity unless you notify them!

When a student is required to resubmit an activity, the three business day window for grading will be reapplied.

Are these courses approved in my state?
Please view our list of Approved States.
I don’t see my state listed in the approved states section. Does that mean that I cannot take a course?
ChildCareTraining.org seeks approval in many states. If you don’t see your state listed, contact your local licensing agency and request approval.
I live in Montana. Will my course be submitted to the Early Childhood Project (ECP)?
Yes, ChildCareTraining.org submits records of all successfully completed courses to ECP every Thursdays.
Will the nutrition courses count toward required Montana CACFP training?
CACFP Sponsors decide what training meets the standards set in each state. So, check with your state’s CACFP Sponsor. In Montana, Health, Safety & Nutrition courses approved by the Early Childhood Project Career Development System are accepted by MTCACFP, except for the course Going City Green. It is still prudent to check with your sponsor. We do not offer courses on CACFP regulations which is a required annual training for homes and centers participating in CACFP, as regulations differ from state to state.
Will this course count toward the continuing education requirements for licensing in my state?
All courses are approved in Montana. Check our Approved States page to see if your state is included. If not, please contact cct@childcareresources.org and provide your contact information and we will research obtaining approval in your state.
Does this training carry Continuing Education Units (CEUs)?
Unfortunately, ChildCareTraining.org courses do not carry CEUs.
Will this training count toward my Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate?
Online training may be applied to your original CDA, as only training hours are required. However, CEUs are required for renewals, so ChildCareTraining.org hours cannot be used.
Will this training count toward my National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation continuing education requirement?
There are no continuing education requirements for NAEYC accreditation. However, there are higher education requirements. Also, if you are working on your CDA, ChildCareTraining.org courses may count as part of your training requirements.
Will this training count toward my National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) accreditation training requirement?
Yes, 10 hours of online training will count toward the NAFCC accreditation training requirement.
