ChildCareTraining.org is a project of Child Care Resources, Inc., a Child Care Resource and Referral agency, and a Child and Adult Care Food Program sponsor serving Missoula, Mineral, Ravalli, and lower Lake counties in Montana. Child Care Resources’ mission is to help kids grow into successful adults by enriching the learning environment of their crucial early years.

Child Care Resources believes that child care providers are more accurately referred to as early childhood professionals. Over the years, the industry has shifted semantics from babysitting to daycare and child care, more recently. However, being entrusted with the care and education of our youngest generation is no small task. Early childhood professionals have a vitally important job; we strive to offer access to more professional development for this community.

Child Care Resources recognized the need for more convenient training opportunities for early childhood professionals. We know that child care providers often have little free time at the end of the day, which can make traveling to and attending classroom workshops challenging.

We believe our courses supply training of the highest caliber. All materials are authored by professionals in their field; see our Course Authors page for more information. Each course is also facilitated by one instructor who provides individualized feedback to every participant. We believe this interaction is vital in the learning process, as all course topics require some objective reflection and students gain valuable knowledge from a professional’s feedback.

Child Care Resources, Inc. is a nonprofit charitable organization, with 501(c)(3) exempt status.
