The Best Beginnings STARS to Quality Program is a continuous quality improvement program for early childhood education in Montana! This voluntary quality rating improvement system (QRIS) aligns quality indicators with support and incentives for early childhood programs and early childhood professionals. STARS is currently in a field test stage in order to assess and evaluate the program, and work through any challenges. Infrastructure information continues to be refined, finalized and updated. STARS participants must follow the specific matrix of training and criteria for their type of program and STAR level.
This project is funded (in part) under a contract with the MT Department of Health and Human Services. The statements herein do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the Department.
